PC Pitstop Exterminate is a spyware detector based on eTrustPestPatrol, one of the most popular security products, known for its superior detection of spyware and for its large malicious software database that is regularly updated via the Internet.



The application scans the Windows Registry, active processes and Internet browser cookies. It can scan each file on each hard drive or removable device.



It has 2 modes, one a fast scan and the other a total scan. The fast scan only needs 10 seconds, but the most effective, the total scan, scans every file in every drive and can take a few minutes. However, it is recommended to use it at least for the first time, to leave your system clean of spyware.
